The responsible person of Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric Co., Ltd. pointed out,a 6500-volt high-voltage chips and modules developed by the company has been appraised by 3 academicians from Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Experts believe chips and modules "solved the short-circuit current capability and chip off capability difficult to coordinate international technical problems, the overall technology in the international advanced level."

 

Comrades in charge of the company's technology, said Times Electric invested 1.5 billion yuan building IGBT chip production line has entered the commissioning phase of the process is expected to be put into the first half of 2014, only a 6500 volt IGBT chips annually save 60 billion for the state procurement costs, break ABB, Mitsubishi and a few technological monopoly of foreign enterprises and price manipulation.
